這隻俄羅斯寬展櫛蟲,是因為想研究2種次屬的俄羅斯寬展櫛蟲的差異性而收下的,因為我

還沒買相關的書籍,也看了這許多寬展櫛蟲的照片,但說實在-------還是看不出來,於是

便詢問知道的人,他給了我如下的答覆:

Asaphus gracilis and Asaphus robustus belong to one species - Asaphus

expansus (Wahlenberg, 1821). This is its variety. Correct names - gracilis

(Ivansov, 2003) and Asaphus expansus robustus (Ivansov,2003). Therefore

 they have slight differences.

Asaphus expansus Robustus :

has a shorter glabella(短的頭鞍), wide-set eyes(寬的眼距), thick and high eyes(高且厚的

眼睛), longer and more convex tail (長且更突出的尾葉).

Asaphus expansus Gracilis:

 has more convex and elongate glabella(長且顯著的頭鞍), the distance between eyes is

less(較為短的眼距), , eyes are thinner and shorter(短且薄的眼睛), tail is flatter and short

(短且更平的尾葉).

Also, these two subspecies are located in different layers of limestone.

但說實在的,我還是辨識不出來(我看了網站的照片,但對於分辨這2種,還是困惑,且知名網

站也只標示他們的化石為 Asaphus expansus,而不標示其次屬,雖然看到有些化石的照

片感覺是有差異,但還是不敢確定,真是苦惱一U一!!!!!
